    All members who sign up for our MMA classes receive complimentary access to the Weights, Cardio Gym, and SPA facilities next door, available Monday to Sunday.
    Parents or guardians dropping off students are also welcome to use the Gym & SPA facilities for a workout or some relaxation while they wait.
    This full Gym & SPA access is included as part of the MMA membership package.

    What is MMA Wrestling?

    Takedowns: Wrestlers are intelligent with distance control and correct timing, shooting in on opponents to gain takedowns.
    Ground control: When wrestlers take opponents to the floor, they look for pins, positioning them to limit movement and create striking and submition opportunities.
    Cage control: Fighters rush opponents against the cage wall, using positioning to secure takedowns or land strikes.
    Defensive wrestling: When backed against the cage or open cage, fighters use counter wrestling to regain control.

    What is MMA Striking

    MMA fighters use a variety of strikes, including punches, elbows, knees and kicks for both attack and defence. MMA striking is a complex skill to master, so it is important to learn the correct and safest techniques to reduce the risk of injury during training and competition. A well-rounded striker can be a very dangerous opponent in the ring or cage. Through hard work and dedication, our coaches can help you develop into a confident and effective striker.
    Stance and footwork are also essential fundamentals in striking and martial arts training. Mastering the basic techniques builds strong foundations and allows continued development and progression while maintaining correct form and technique.

    What is MMA Ground Fighting

    Ground fighting is a combination of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling, incorporating techniques such as submissions, punches, and elbows to finish off opponents. The focus of MMA ground fighting is on dominating the opponent through positional control. Fighters aim to secure advantageous positions that allow them to either apply submissions or deliver affective strikes to secure victory. This strategic approach emphasizes the importance of both grappling and striking skills on the ground, making it a crucial aspect of mixed martial arts competition.
